Sandip is the Director of My Business Counsel and is responsible for implementing the strategic direction and growth of the Firm.

Sandip’s background stems from working within the in-house departments in the telecoms industry for Sendo Telecom that was transferred to Motorola.

Before setting up My Business Counsel, Sandip qualified with DLA Piper and then went on to establish and lead the Business Legal Team for SFS Global.

As well as managing the day to day operation of the firm, Sandip avidly continues to practice law and advise clients on general commercial, corporate, intellectual property (IP) and IT matters.

Sandip works with clients as their In-House Counsel or Head of Legal, essentially managing the in-house function for a client. This allows him to work more closely with a client’s business in order to add value from three angles: commercial; technical and regulatory.

Sandip can advise upon all aspects of IP, including designs, patents, copyright and trademarks as well as issues relating to IT law and the internet. Sandip’s extensive commercial experience also positions him well to expertly advise on all commercial & corporate transactions that a client may be engaged with, as well as dealing with the IP implications of the same.

In addition to this, Sandip has extensive experience in speaking at business events and has hosted seminars in intellectual property and raising investment. He has recently completed a series of events for Barclays, The Intellectual Property Office, UK Trade & Investment and previously for Connect Midlands.
